The first meeting of WESTSIDE OF CHICAGO-ROOTS & SHOOT IN ILLINOIS, was held on January 23, 2008. This meeting was held at the Allison United Foundation/Digital Development Corparation & Oversight Committee Office.

Attended this meeting was Lowry Taylor, CEO, DDCOC, Credell, "Cre" Walls, Roots & Shoots Illinois State Coordinator, Qunia Anderson, Group Leader, Sylvia Anderson, Youth Leader, JoVaughn Fairman, Youth Leader, and various community leaders. This was a highly successful meeting.
